Remember my Yui cosplay? Here's where I got the accessories made!

These took more or less two months to arrive, actually. Owner had some issues apparently. 

They have a two week production period, but I guess they aren't keen on actually getting the items shipped.. I missed two photoshoots because they didn't arrive on time. >.<

I had a hair clip, pin, and anklets made.

Here's the hair clip. It's made of foam.

The clip behind it is sorta broken. Like, the part that bends down doesn't actually bend down. It just bends then you have to pull it to actually get it in your hair. And it's hard to clip.

Anklets. In the anime they're round, and I honestly expected for them to be round as well. They're easy to put on, but are hard to take off. And since I gave them my exact ankle size, it hurts a lot cause the balls dig in (and the lock thing hurts A LOT if you clip it wrong..)

Here's the choker clip. Or should I say hair clip? I was super disappointed because I asked for a choker pin right from the start and they still gave me a clip. All my references showed that it was on her choker too. -_-

It's made of foam as well.

Well hey, at least my costume is complete now!

So, all in all, I was sorta super disappointed.

1. Asked for a choker pin, not a hair clip

2. Hair clip doesn't even open up

3. Anklets were supposed to be round

4. Two-ish months?..

5. Price. I mean seriously, I think the shipping for these cost more than the shipping of a heavy sword

6. Materials. 

Price : 3/10 

To be honest, not worth it. Materials + Labor was 550, and the shipping was 300. 

And the choker clip... -___-

Quality : 5/10

I thought they were gonna be a higher quality based on the price.

Would I buy from here again? : Maybe. Not so sure yet. I hear their swords are good though.

Review : Marrey's Kosupureshoppu (Vampire Knight - Day Uniform)

Okay so here’s the pic of the costume that I ordered.

Honestly, I was very excited to get this cos since I really like vampire knight and I’ve wanted to cosplay Yuuki for a while now. And when the costume came I just couldn’t wait to try it on :)

The fabric was good it felt softer than my school uniform so I was happy :3

But there was a problem right before it was shipped to us. The maker said that they lost the buttons (supposed to have flat buttons in replacement of the flower ones) so they were requesting for us to send 100php for it. I honestly didn’t get why we had to send 100php, but I just told them to ship it without buttons and that I’d just find my own buttons.

When I tried the top on I had issues since it was sort-of tight. I’m guessing it’s because I sent them EXACT measurements for the uniform and forgot to mention that it didn’t have any “excess” on it. It was okay to wear but after a while it gets kind of uncomfortable because of the fit.

Here’s a photo of the right cuff.

I kind of got confused when I saw that the line went around half of the cuff.  Because the cuff was just supposed to have pin-like lines, like  :

 And it was supposed to have a folded effect. But I didn’t mind. To me it was okay. It just caught my attention. But I was hoping to have something closer to the actual (I’m so sorry if I’m sounding mean :c this is my  1^st review and I sort of don’t know how to say things >< , I appreciate the cos. Really I do. And I like how it turned out. It just has some errors on it …. )

Here’s the opening of the skirt.

Since the maker said that they lost the buttons, I guess they also lost the skirt lock too.

And because I said that the maker ended up making things EXACT. This was sort of tight too. But it’s okay since it’s velcro so I can loosen it a bit . and I like the fit :) I don’t have to use pins to hold it up ^^

The logo 

The red lines were sewn on line the white lines of the uniform and the logo it’s self was an iron on print.

I think it was a good idea to iron on the logo so that it’d be detailed. 

The cloth used for the band was like Lacoste(or is it really? I didn’t ask what cloths were used for it ><) 

It was… uhhh how do you call it? Two-ply? Two layered?

 It’s basically folded in and stitched to make it thicker ><

Details: 8/10

Stitching: 7/10 ( I also saw some parts that were not stitched. Like the string is there but the cloth is not attached to it ><)

Review : Sparkle Lenses (Classic ; Sky)

I got these also from Best-Selling Sparkle Contact Lens.

These also took three-ish months to arrive.

Brand : SPARKLE

Style : Classic

Color : Sky / Aqua

Diameter : 14.5mm

Once more, here are my pretty [ugly] eyes.

I need to sleep more, obviously.

I love this color to be honest. It's super obvious, and people always notice me when I wear it. They're noticeable in semi-dark places too depending on how the light hits you. I give its color a 10/10.

The size is also great, too. It's normal-sized, so my eyes don't look too big at all.

I got a light color to counter my dark brown eyes, and I must say, they evened out pretty well in my opinion.

Comfort :  10/10

No problems after a whole day. Accidentally went to bed with them on too, nothing bad happened.

Softness : 10/10

Price : 8/10

(Php400. It was graded, too. It's discounted already. -_-)

I used them form my photo-shoot; though they're not obvious they do add more depth into my eyes either way. :)

Review : Sparkle Lenses (Stylish ; Brown)

I got these from a Facebook page called Best Selling Contact Lens.

The only thing I don't like about this shop is that it took more or less three months for this to arrive.

Brand : SPARKLE

Style : Stylish

Color : Brown

Diameter : 14.5mm

Again, normal eyes.

I gotta get rid of my eyebags.

As you can see I put these on backwards too. That and I forgot to put solution on the lens before putting them in my eyes.

As you can see, even though they're 14.5mm in diameter they have an enlargement effect. I didn't know they had that kind of effect so I'm a little disappointed. I wanted something more natural sized. >.<

All in all the color's okay, it's light so my eyes obviously look lighter. The enlargement isn't too bad, but since my eyes are small it makes my face look squished I guess. o.o Or is it just me?

The color is visible up close, but is a bit harder to see from far away unless you take a flash picture.

Comfort : 10/10
No pain after a whole day.

Softness : 9/10
They don't itch too much if backwards.

Price : 8/10
(They cost more than my black ones and they took a LOT longer to get to me)

Review : Sparkle Lenses (Japanese Doll ; Black)

Hello! I have been wearing contact lenses for five years now, and I just recently tried colored contacts. It's a little hard to find lenses on-hand for my grade so I never really tried to find lenses. Here's one of the ones I bought for myself though.

I got it from my cousin who got it from her supplier, so I don't know who or where it's from exactly.

Here's some information:

Style : Japanese Doll

Color : Black

Effect : 17mm

Diameter : Can't tell. 15mm I think?

 Here are my eyes without [colored] contacts. I Used Flash.

And here it is with the Japanese Doll contact lenses. Sorry for the ugly face. I put them on upside-down the first time I put them on my eyes, irritating and making my eyes puffy. -_-

So, as you can see, my eyes got really big after putting it on. Well, it IS a 17mm effect design, after all.

So, it's comfy and all, but unlike some of my other lenses this one's a real big pain when it's on backwards.

I like this because it makes me look childlike when I wear my long black wig.

When I used flash up close though my brown eyes were super obvious But it looks pretty in a way too.

Design : 8/10 (I want something more natural next time)

Comfort :  9/10

Price : 9/10 (Php300 since it was graded)

Review : Lilie's Cosplay Shop ; L-Email Wig

Hello! I'm back after like an hour. Haha. I also wanted to share this.
I got my very first wig last month and received it a couple weeks ago also.
Here's where I bought it from :

Okay, so here's the wig I ordered:

asdfghjkl eyebagssss.

Aaanyways, it isn't combed. How long is it? I don't know how to properly measure wigs (like, bangs then around to the end or what? o.O) so I'll just give an idea.

Picture a person height 4'11". Then imagine it to go to her butt length. It's pretty long. (Perfect for Yui or Alice <3)

So yeah. Shop Review:

I like her. A lot. Though I kinda got worried when it didn't arrive on the date I thought it would (it took a week longer than I expected), at least it arrived. I didn't order anything else, so I can't say much. She does have a LOT of things available though, so it's a one stop shop for anyone I guess :3 It's not too pricey as well. I got my wig for 1300, free shipping fee and wig cap as well. Since it's a long wig I think it was fairly reasonable. :)

Wig Review:

When I opened the package I was hit with the scent first. It's not foul smelling or anything. It smelled like candy, actually (I was really happy xD)
Since I'm inexperienced when it comes to wigs, I'm just going to say that it's good. I can't say excellent, since I have never tried on any other brand.
What I like about this wig is that it doesn't tangle too easily (and whenever it did it untangled easily too). It's a little frizzy though, but that's normal I think. And the SMELL. Candy! <3
So yeah. It fits on my head fine, and it's a bit heavy, but long wigs are always heavy, anyways. :3
I don't know what it's made of exactly, but I don't think it's bad or anything. It's sorta shiny in flash (depends on the angles and lighting) but it looks fine in normal/fluorescent lighting.
It's sorta soft and sorta rough. Like, in some places it's soft and on other places it's not. I don't know why. xD
What else can I say?

Softness : 7/10
Frizziness : 9/10
Smell : 9/10 (I don't know how long the candy smell will stay ;n;)
Satisfied? Super!

Review : Marrey's Kosupureshoppu

Hello! This is my first ever review.
I decided to start this blog because, well, I have a lot of free time, and I tend to buy a lot of things. And I mean a LOT. Ha.

First ever review!
So, I started getting interested in Cosplay, and I decided to order a costume for the first time.

So last month I commissioned a dress w/ warmers and a choker from her, and received it a couple weeks ago. Don't mind the necklace. Or the face. Or the dark skin. o3o

(Before you ask about the colors, I had it so it was all pink, since there wasn't an available sightly darker pink  to make up for the dual-tone.)

Here's my opinion;

The owner of the shop is super nice (and young o.o) And is easy to talk to. :) As for the dress I bought, after seeing the pictures here from her other customers I got super excited about having this made. They're cheap, too!

When I received the costume I was just a little disappointed, though.

The choker is completely fine. It took me a couple minutes to figure out how t wear it correctly, though. xD

The bottom part of the top was only cut (meaning it wasn't sewn in), and so were the ends of the warmers, so I can't wear it too long (that or I just won't move at all) without the parts fraying.
 I tried to fix the top with a white cloth on the inside. I succeeded in making sure it didn't fray anymore, but I made the costume look funny now since there's just a random white cloth sewn into the inside of it. It can be used as a pocket, I guess.
The top was fine except for that part, actually.
The skirt looked a little funny in my opinion. I was expecting more of a 'flower' look to it, but as you can see, it doesn't look much like that at all. (Spiky things?)
And the ribbons on the side aren't supposed to be ribbons. I don't know how to describe what they're supposed to be. But if you picture an upside-down flower, you'll understand what I mean.

All in all, the service was good. I guess it's just the costume itself that kinda looks funny to me. I never commissioned anything before here in the Philippines so I'm not sure if this is normal or what x.x

So.. yeah.

Service : 8/10 Owner easy to talk to, listened to all our requests, was pretty cheap too
Product Outcome : 6/10 It's usable, but since I'm super picky with things I might not be wearing this anytime soon.
Would I come back? : Of course. Maybe I'll have school uniforms commissioned, or something easier to follow. I understand that this request was sorta difficult since the design itself isn't what people would normally ask for.
